Dear Delia and family,
You've made such a beautiufl site for your son. He was a very handsome man. Hopefully he is wearing his Angel Chief Hat and cooking up a storm for all the other angels. Allan would be so pleased. How sad that as parents we didn't go before our children. The biggest joy a parent receives in life is to watch their children grow up and function in this big world.
We as parents usually presume we are going to go before our own child. We prepare for this. All of our child's life we take care of them, we watch out for their safety. We fix their beau beaus. We train our brain to think we will always be able to protect them and keep them safe.
What a shock, when we receive the news that a child of ours has died. The disbelieve and anger is unexplainable. The pain it causes to so many people. Their siblings, friends, co-workers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. The list could go on and on. That just proves to us that our children were great people and very much loved in this world. We have to be thankful that God granted us our children and that we were blessed to do such a great job raising them, that they were the very special chosen ones. It doesn't take away the pain but it gives us hope and faith. We do have the knowledge to know that our child is waiting for us, and we will be reunited with them one day.
I am ever so greatful for this site. I think this site helps us so much. We get to communicate with so many different people and from all ends of the world. We are at peace with each other, because we are feeling the same type of pain. Someimes I think of this site as heaven. We wonder around from site to site just like our angels our wondering around with each other. Somehow through the death of our children, our world has expanded and we have had the opportunity to meet so many people. If we don't ever meet each other in this world, I am sure when we continue on in our journey in life, we will meet and know one another, Hopefully we will get to meet all our darling Angels that we talk about.
Much love to you all. May God Bless you. Close
